1. Two (2) All-Access Passes to ALL FOUR Shawshank 25 th
Anniversary Events sold through OSR, including: the official 25 th
anniversary screening of The Shawshank Redemption at the
Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, where the film first premiered, and
where a pre-screening panel discussion will take place, featuring
members of the cast and crew; entry to the “Shawshank 25 Meet &
Greet” Event, where at least 9 original cast members will be signing
autographs and posing for photos inside Shawshank State Prison;
entry to the Exclusive Shawshank Reception, a cocktail party where
members of the cast and crew will be in attendance; and a Self-

This one-of-a-kind, hand-built, banking-related board game comes
packed inside a hand-painted, Bluetooth-enabled, tote-able record
player (complete with yellow stripes and “Portland Public School
District” stencil on the lid); a custom-made record album (featuring 4
relevant songs); a candy tin filled with movie-related game pieces,
game cards, a pen (stolen) from the desk of Warden Samuel Norton,
a letter from Andy; a dozen hand-crafted prop replicas, made
exclusively at Shawshank State Prison; and a rock, picked at random
from the prison yard where several scenes from the movie were shot,
which comes inside a mini replica of the tin Andy buried and Red unearthed.

OFFICIAL CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
– Rule #1. No blasphemy: We’ll not have the Lord’s name taken in
vain in your letter. Also, letter writers who include offensive language
in their letters – that is, any content our panel of judges deems to be
offensive – will be disqualified and they will not be eligible for prizes.
Please use respectful language. The rest of the rules, you’ll figure out
as you read along.
– Rule #2. Entry is free to anyone 13 or older: All contestants may
enter the contest free of charge. However, letter writers must be 13 or
older to enter the contest.
– Rule #3. Write your letter: Explain what the film The Shawshank
Redemption means to you, emphasizing what it would mean for you
to meet the cast of the movie if you won the contest.
– Rule #4. Please use the U.S. Postal service to mail your
letter — or if you prefer, you can email your letter to
Shawshank State Prison. Either way, please make sure you
include your legal name, address, email address, and phone number
so that we may contact you in the event that you are selected as one of
the thirteen winners. Your letter must be mailed or e-mailed to either
of the addresses listed below.

– Rule #5. Mail your letter by the deadline: JUNE 15th. All entries
must be postmarked or time-stamped by JUNE 15 th, 2019: To be
eligible for the contest, your letter or email MUST BE
POSTMARKED/ TIMESTAMPED BY NO LATER THAN 11:59 PM of
JUNE 15th, 2019. Any letters or emails received after that date/time
will not be opened/read and will be discarded.
– Rule #6. This is not a lottery: This contest is not a random draw.
Winners will be chosen based on the content of their letters, the
creativity of their expression, and which contestants best explain why
meeting the cast is so important to them. Be creative and convincing:
Tell us what meeting the cast means to you.
– Rule #7. Await the letter review process: All letters will be reviewed
by the Shawshank “Parole Board”, an unbiased panel of judges who
will select the top 13 letters that best express what it would mean for
the authors to meet the cast of the film. Winners will be chosen based
on the quality of their letters, their creativity, and most importantly,
how well the letters express what it would mean for the author to
meet the cast of the movie. The letter-writer who best expresses why
meeting the cast of the movie means so much to them will win the
Grand Prize.
– Rule #8. If your letter is one of the 13 chosen, you must be
present at Shawshank 25 to redeem your prizes. No transfers,
no re-sales, and no refunds allowed. Tickets cannot be used by
anyone else, nor can they be sold or traded in for their cash value.
– Rule #9. Letter content. By submitting your letter, you agree to
allow Shawshank State Prison to use your content to promote
SHAWSHANK25. If your letter is selected, we will not reveal your full
name, we will only use only your initials in marketing and
promotions. When the winners are announced, we will list the first
and last names of all 13 Shawshank Superfan Prize winners.
– Rule #10. ONE entry only: Only one person or household may enter,
and applicants must be of 13 years of age or older.
– Rule #11. Public contest only: No one affiliated with The Ohio State
Reformatory, the Shawshank Trail, or any other organizations,
filming sites or locations – or their family members – or any other
partners or affiliates associated with Shawshank 25 can participate in
the contest.
– Rule #12. All decisions of the judges are final.
– Rule #13. All winners agree to abide by the terms and conditions of
all the events, and will not expect or receive preferential treatment
above and beyond other guests at these events.

The ParaPsyCon, formerly the Old St. Joseph Hospital Psychic & Paranormal Fair moves to their new location in 2019…the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio!
The convention will feature the following types of vendors: psychics, paranormal teams, authors, reiki healers, stones, crystals, jewelry, Tarot, speakers, and much more!
There will also be a public ghost hunt Saturday night, May 4, 2019 inside the dark and haunted Ohio State Reformatory (Additional cost)
ADMISSION TO THE CONVENTION IS FREE WITH YOUR PAID ADMISSION TO THE OHIO STATE REFORMATORY!!

Come explore and learn about the famous Ohio State Reformatory through a self-guided walking tour. Learn about the history and paranormal activity that occurs inside the prison as well as the movies that were filmed there including The Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One. End your tour in the Central Guard Room where you can wander around and visit the more than 60 vendor tables.
A portion of the money collected from vendor sales and the public ghost hunt will be donated to a local charity.
We ask that everyone attending bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the local food bank.

Due the extreme weather and dangerously low wind-chills expected this weekend, the Ohio State Reformatory will be closed this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the safety of our guests and our staff. Guests who’ve purchased tickets already will receive an email to reschedule soon! We will see you next Thursday!
Winter Tours Now Open!
The Historic Ohio State Reformatory is now open for Winter Tours!
Come explore the halls and cells of the Reformatory! We will be open Thursday – Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and tickets will be $15 per person.
Make sure to dress warmly, as parts of the building are not heated!
