Description
In Captain of the Guard, Ike Webb takes the reader through life behind the bars of the Ohio State Reformatory. First, he brings a fictional prisoner into the prison and tracks his daily life as he works toward rehabilitation and freedom. Then he brings his own experiences behind the wall to the reader through his rise from a newly hired guard to his final promotion to Captain. Finally, in “Mad Dog Killers”, two former prisoners reunite to commit a horrific series of murders.
