We are a small family run alpaca farm in Mansfield, Ohio and have been raising alpacas since 2002. Indigenous to South America, the alpaca is raised for its fleece. The fleece is sheared once a year, spun into yarn, then knitted, crocheted, woven, and felted into beautiful products that are luxuriously soft, warm and hypoallergenic. Considered to produce the fiber of royalty – alpacas are members of the camelid family. They are mild-tempered, gregarious animals with an inquisitive nature and a penchant for bringing delight to their owners. We enjoy sharing the alpaca lifestyle with others and invite you to come visit our farm. See these beautiful creatures and learn the fascinating facts about alpacas! Tours are available for groups from May through November.
We have a Farm Store & Fiber Studio at our farm. In it you will find alpaca fiber in its raw state, processed rovings and batts, beautiful yarn, both natural and hand-dyed. We also offer for sale many handmade items, as well as alpaca socks, finger puppets, blankets, rugs, and more. Fiber Art Classes including knitting, crocheting, felting, spinning, and dyeing are offered. See the schedule on our website for dates and times. The studio is open the second Saturday of the month and we invite you to take some time out of your busy schedule just to "Sit-n-Knit or Crochet or Spin".
